About the Course

Specifically, by building upon the main environmental economic theories and related policy tools serving the economic systems, it introduces the European plan “NextGenerationEU” and its nexus with the European Green Deal. Moreover, it is explained how the “NextGenerationEU” inspires the National Plans for Recovery and Resilience that the majority of European countries submitted to the European Commission to lead the territorial systems to sustainable paths to trigger the so-called “twin transitions”. The course concludes summarizing the main scientific evidence on twin transitions, as conceived by the “NextGenerationEU”.
