MONICA DESSOLE

Monica Dessole completed her Master’s degree in Mathematics in 2017 with a thesis entitled “An hybrid model for the solution of incompressible density dependent Navier-Stokes equations, implementation on GPUs”, in collaboration with University of Lille, where she spent a term thanks to the Erasmus+ programme. She then joined a research project aimed at real-time fluid flow simulations for virtual prototyping. She also worked as teaching assistant of Computer Programming in Python at the Mathematics Department of University of Padova.  She's currently a PhD student at University of Padova, her main scientific topics are numerical methods and algorithms for massively parallel architectures.
